Nader’s Story
Rev. Nader Hanna, President and CEO of Salam Ministries, was born and raised in Egypt, a Muslim, Arabic-speaking country. He has lived and served the Lord in Egypt, Lebanon, Cyprus, and the USA. Nader is a trainer and coach of cross-cultural Disciple Making Movements DMMs and an evangelist to Middle Easterners and Muslims.
Nader and his wife, Amy, have a 19 year old son, Hadi. Nader and Amy have been full time in ministry for the past 20 years producing and broadcasting Christian TV and radio programs to the Arab/Muslim world and leading outreach, discipleship programs, and leadership trainings. He is currently partnering with Lutheran Hour Ministries (LHM) in audiovisual production and training churches in evangelism, spiritual formation of a disciple, cross cultural ministry, apologetics and comparative religions, Islam and making disciples among Muslims, and Engaging the occults.
Nader serves in partnership with the Pacific Southwest District (PSD) and Mission of Christ Network. Faith Lutheran Church, Huntington Beach, holds his call as the Associate Pastor for Mission Outreach, sending him to work with churches and communities in Southern California to help edify the Body of Christ and do the work of mission.

Current Ministries
December: The Salam Fellowship Christmas Community Christmas Party will take place on December 16th. Salam Ministries will participate in Petal Pushers on December 30th.
January: Pastor Nader will ride on the Lutheran Hour Float in the Rose Parade on January 1st. Pastor Nader will be a speaker at the Making Disciples for Life Conference in St. Louis from January 10 -12. He will preach at Our Savior Lutheran Church in Palm Springs for Mission of Christ Sunday on January 16th, 2022.
February: Pastor Nader will be a speaker at the Best Practices for Ministry (BPM) Conference, from February 17 – 19, 2022 at Christ Lutheran Church in Phoenix, Arizona.
March: Salam Ministries is preparing for the visit of Greg Finke on the weekend of March 12 and 13 at Redeemer Lutheran Church – Huntington Beach.
On-Going Ministries
Salam Fellowship is on Thursday evenings: 6:30 fellowship 7:15 – 8:00 Bible Study and 8:00 Fellowship Dinner at Holy Cross Lutheran Church in Cypress, CA.
Salam Ministries help Afghan families transition to living in the United States.
Spiritual Edification Bible Class takes place at 5:00 on Tuesday evenings at Bethel Lutheran Church in Buena park.
